I've been trying to get some extra rod sticks for plastic welding for 2019 Mirage Oasis - Seagrass Green but few locations in Sacramento, they either don't carry spare rod sticks or closed for the season.  Does anyone have an experience with fixing your kayak (e.g. plastic welding) to know enough if any plastic will work or does i have to be certain type of plastic? I actually have my kids' sand toys which they have outgrown, almost matching the color of my kayak.
