General Talk / Accurate weather predictions NorCal

I have noticed that my favorite weather app Windy on IOS is not providing accurate forecasts. Maybe I a.m. not using the correct weather models for NorCal so I am curious to hear where you get your info from and on which weather models it is based.
I have a choice between:
GFS+
ICON13
EC-ENS
ECMWF
NAM
HRRR
GFS27

Any advice is welcome.

Kayak Diving and Spearfishing / Trolling to your dive spot

I was wondering if any of you troll a line while cruising to your dive spot.? It seems to me that it might be worthwhile since you might get lucky.
If so how do you go about it? What species are you targeting?
Looking forward to learn from your experience.

Planning to move back to California after being away for a while. Looking forward to do some spearfishing around Tomales Bay and north from there.
Would love to meet up with some local spearos.
