General Talk / Tragic Sunday
« on: December 21, 2015, 11:37:35 AM »
I fn don't know where to start.....

For those of you who have met the new love of my life Megan Kuehn (keen) at the last events, She the best thing to walk into my life!  Her Father Jim Kuehn at age 58 died in a tragic head on collision Sunday 12-20-15 at 1:00 pm in El Dorado Hills, on a Latrobe Rd 1 mile from his home in Sun Ridge Meadows.  Its unbelievable how fast you can lose a family member.  Cherish all that you have this holiday season. Love on your loved ones.  Love on your enemies. Love the distanced family member you have not spoken to in a while.

Jim was a fly fisherman.  Sadly, I did not get to fish with him, although we spoke about heading up to the Truckee river several times, I regret not taking the time to make a bonding trip with him.  He was an amazing man married for 36 years to Marilyn.  He was a retired Major in the Air Force as a fighter pilot.  He flew for South West Airlines for the last 20 years.  A fearless man with a heart like no other.  Jim has a decent size property and last month he helped me cut all the firewood I would need for the winter, I didn't even ask for his help but he insisted on giving me a hand with whatever I was up too any day.  I know deep down in side even though he never told me, that he excepts me into the family by the way when I was with him.  I'm just torn as Megan does not have Dado to walk her down the aisle when she gets married.  Fucking kills me, shes daddys little girl but the oldest.

Megan's birthday is on Wednesday the 23rd.  I'm so thankful that Megan and I spent Saturday the 19th at his house with Marilyn for an early birthday dinner and amazing games of cards till 11 pm that night.  Im so fucking thankful we decided to do birthday on Saturday!

I slept 3 hrs last night and was up till 5 am with Megan.  I can't' sleep with all the thoughts going through my head. For those who know me, I don't post very much.  But this morning i needed to let some stuff out as i know you will accept my rant.  I love NCKA for all you do.  The best brothers and friends ive ever had.

Whats up NCKA,

No body local will install a zipper on a wetsuit or any shop local that would fix a tear, I called around and found Blown Out Wetsuits in SC.  I had the suit UPSd and had it back in 1 1/2 weeks.  Nice craftsman ship and very helpful on the phone.  Needless to say I enjoyed the relief this last weekend OTW!! Give em a call
