Hello -

I have an "ancient" OK Prowler (2008 hull).

It needs some steering help via a rudder or skeg? ie; difficult to steer against side wind/side current.

I saw a mod somewhere(?), where some guy (who = dunno)? put a T15 rudder system "atop" his hull rather than "behind" in the factory set, screw alignment on the stern.

Is this mod available or is it customized?

OK Nevermind!

I decided to make myself a keel!

It went like this;

It’s rainy and not much catching going on, so I decided to do another mod to my old Prowler. I noticed a while back that in a side wind the Prowler’s hull slips sideways and is was very hard to get it to turn into the wind. After paddling on the leeward side (away from the wind) I was finally able to negotiate a turn into Spooner’s. It was a bit scary.

Furthermore, because of the amount of  stuff I have accumulated, I can only store this hull in an upright position standing on it’s tail.

This is the  finished keel

  Nice !           Similiar to the double keels on a Raptor.    Have you had a chance to paddle it yet?

No, I haven't yet had a chance at a paddle. Perhaps this week.

Luv your new design on the G2.

Great work!
