Great read, enjoyed your observations and perspective. Try not to encourage Doug, (too much) tho. Thanks, Eric.

That's a sweet black sea bass.

Dont scare me like that! We checked the first two rakers and everything.

I couldn’t positively ID without the cutting board in pic.

Nice fish.

hahah I should have put the cutting board in there.

Funniest line of that whole thread was whoever said "screwsfish"

Thank you thank you, I’ll be here all week. Dont forget to tip the wait staff.

Don't forget to tip your ambulance staff... from the 3 second panic attack I had... =P

Thanks! Although I found out today that I'm covered in poison oak even though I did most of my hiking through the thicket in a full wetsuit... any thoughts on how to clean the wetsuit from the poison oak oil??

Poison oak sucks.  sorry man.

What a great write up! And, man, talk about earning your dinner! Never heard of being prepared with sleds, but that's a nice idea for the some of the bluffs we end up scaling with too much weight and hands full of stuff. Inspiring and glad that fish got you a record!

Just got back from Doctors on Duty where in the words of Forrest Gump, "I got shot in the buttocks" ... twice... it feels like a gnarly charlie horse! Now I need to get some gloves and clean my gear in Technu.

There are a ton of ways to set yours up, I've found mine to be very useful. CLICK HERE for the DIY "how to" I wrote up on the dive float (aka sled)

Glad the write up was enjoyable!

Wow nice report!

Really like those grass rockfish, good eating.
Any idea how old that one might be?

Thank you. I'm not sure how old it was.
