I have to say this year has been totally different than last year in regards to my daughter and her fishing. She is now a freshman in high school and there are football games and homecoming dances and and and...

I know she still loves fishing and will hopefully be snatching her first abalone soon it killse not having her out there with me. I'm hoping I payed enough of a foundation she will comeback too as she gets a little older.

I am totally with Rider. What a great video Chaeki!!!  You have some talent to get down and get all those stuck lures. And, you got some fish on spear too. Very cool. I was waiting to see you spear a 20lb ling and put it on Ethan's hook     I know i would try a stunt like that to mess with my kid.

As for lake fishing, we like it. I am 3 mins from Folsom Lake (aka folsom pond) and close to other areas. As I told Rider, my biggest battle now is, if I offer to take my son fishing, he tells me it is not real fishing unless off a kayak!  LOL

Hahaha I have done that when he was little, but he is too smart and notices the holes.  He is super competitive and gets upset if I help him.  He keeps telling me that the fish NEAR his lure are his.  ROFL

I was smiling the whole time I watched the video.
