fishing is not that good to deal with that, so I stayed close in for the skunk.... :smt009

Yeah man that would seem to be pretty scary out there.(just another one of my fears from the ocean) I'm yet to bust my ocean cherry, I do worry about seals and GWS so i need some advice. Do you think a pistol would be a good defensive choice? not to actually try to shoot the seal(imagine a bloody seal in the ocean what would that bring?) But to warn him off. like a shot in the air or the water. In all in the name of safety?

NO! But there are legal ways to deter them. A starter pistol would be a decent choice. Check this out.
