Oh yea Steve, my screename has a reason behind it. I was nailed by Whitey at Mosselbay Outer Pool, surfing, about 20 yrs ago. Dont bug on the color thing too much, I call my boats color "Elephant Seal Green"  :smt005.

Welcome to NCKA. What made you choose NCKA? Just curious, in general a great group of hard core anglers. Just don't ask any questions about Big Sur or Health Care Reform. :-)

Welcome Steve! Also, in addition to Big Sur and Health Care Reform be careful asking questions about Salmon.  :smt003  :smt044

I wouldn't go so far as to call a lingcod filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a lingcod's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Hi Great Bass, most of the posts on NCKA seemed to be made by anglers who enjoy the sport and there seems to be a good sense of " brotherhood" here. Some of the other sites have a lot of bickering and bitchiness. Man, talk about ridiculous complaints..........guys moaning and bad mouthing certain Kayaks because their feet get wet when sitting in their kayaks.....I guess they have never done a surf launch........the only things that stay dry are those that you left behind in the car! The way I see it is that if you do not want to get wet..........stay away from the water. I mean, it is like kicking the devils butt, and then complaining when he zaps you with his fork :smt044 :smt005

Seriously though, NCKA seem to be a good bunch of guys who know what they are talking about, not a bunch of expert virtual anglers. By the way, did you know that the definition of an expert is? A has been drip under pressure. lol

Many thanks for all the warm welcomes from the NCKA CROWD

Welcome. I am actually heading down to your side of the world next year for World Cup. I'm not a soccer (football) fan, but I heard this was a big event. I look forward to your pics.

Sounds great, give me a shout a bit closer to the time, I pretty sure that we can arrange a spare yak, and hopefully the weather Gods paly fair ( it will be the middle of our winter then)  we can do a spot yak fishing......and meet some of the local yakkers.
