I know this is completely unrelated to kayaking, but knowing NCKA, I'm sure someone here has one to sell so I thought I'd check here first before heading out to Best Buy.   :smt005

Anyone have a standard comcast modem or one with wifi they'd like to sell?   :smt003

Get a Motorola sb6121 or sb6141. They have them both at best buy and will match Amazon or other websites pricing. The router modem combos don't work well. At $8.00 a month savings from Comcast it pays for itself pretty quick.

that's a docsis 2.0 modem. that only gets up to 30mbps on xfinity. if i'm correct i think they're basically EOL on that comcast?

i thought you were a network engineer? why do you want an integrated modem/router? :smt044

Get a separate dedicated wifi router/switch behind your modem. Much easier to troubleshoot if you got problems down the road.
