"Finally, one of the fastest-growing forms of angling involves the use of kayaks -- usually, the sit-on-top, open-cockpit rigs. On June 10, the Half Moon Bay Kayak Company will host the Norcal Kayak Anglers Fishing Derby at its site near Pillar Point Harbor. Registration will open at 5:30 a.m.; fishing launches at 6:30 a.m.; weigh-in is at 11:30 a.m. The tournament will be followed by a barbecue and raffle. A new Cobra Marauder fishing kayak is the top prize. Entry: $30. (650) 773-6101, www.hmbkayak.com, or www.norcalkayakanglers.com"

Yeah no kidding.  there's gonna be some serious pressure on the fish.  Doubly so, since that week is statewide fishing week, and fish for free day is on saturday the 9th (day before).
