Okay, so I'm about to install my wiring kit on the TI. I understand how it works, but before I drill I thought I'd ask if anyone has input on where or where not to drill.
I mount the FF on the left side of the front crossbar, so I think the best place to drill is the flat space next to the sail post-hole. It seems like a good surface for it with plenty of space.

I've circled the spot and marked it with an X in the pic.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Andrew

There’s no factory holes in the pockets on your TI!
My 2015 AI have them

I think most folks drill the hole in the front, vertical wall of the footwell because it doesn't have too much water exposure, and if it does, the water won't pool there like it would on a horizontal surface.  The Hobie thru-hull kit is pretty darn good in terms of water sealing, so it's more a matter of your preference.

Thanks Mark. I went ahead and drilled on the x in my photo. It’s the closest, most direct route to the FF. I’m not too worried about leakage.
