curplunkie grabbed her and if he has half as much fun with her as did I, he's in for a great time.

Thanks to everyone who was interested, and a HUGE thank you to crash for lending a hand with the NCKA Express.  You're the man.

Thank you, Doug.  That's extremely helpful and very kind of you.

The price doesn't reflect her value or her condition, only of how small this town is and how far I am from everyone.

Hibiscus (red)
Turbo fins on V2 drive
Sailing Rudder

In good condition. I've used it and she has sand rashes to prove it, but it's always been stored in the garage and she gets regular massages with 303 protectant.  No leaks.  All gaskets in great shape.

$1,200

Where in Oregon?

SOMA, I'm in Port Orford.  On the southern coast of Oregon, about 60 miles North of the Oregon/California border.

I thought I had my town showing.  Guess not.

I wanted papaya when I got it but I just couldn't wait six weeks for one to come in.  If only I'd known then what I just learned here.  Rats!

I've got 2 hobies, both the same model, one in papaya (yellowish) and one in hibiscus (red). I much prefer the red, and have never understood why that sickly yellowish color is so popular...

I will be there on Sunday and can get it to Eureka. I'll be at open shelter in 2 weeks and I can almost certainly find someone to get it to simply in 3.

Or you could come up and fish the Rogue if you don't want to wait.

Don't let location of this boat stop you from buying it c

Man, that would be amazing.  I wasn't planning on going up to Simply Fishing this year only because I have a wedding to attend that Friday, but maybe I'll make a trip up if it means I finally get to fish in a Hobie.  How would I get funds to you Tinker, if it's still available?

Whoops!  Missed your post first time around.  PayPal will be fine with me.  PM sent.

This would be so cool!  I've always paid people through PayPal. I've never received a payment.

If its for Farmily is usually free to withdraw them or transfer to your bank.

It's Friday, let's get serious about this...

I forgot I had these until I ran across them this morning.  The kayak includes a Scotty Powerlock rod holder, and an assortment of Scotty mounts - a No. 241 Side/Deck Mount, a No. 244 Rectangular Flush Mount, a No, 344 Round Flush Mount, plus a Gear Head with slip discs.  I never could make up my mind about how or where I wanted to mount a rod holder, so none of them have ever been used.

Works for me!  I'm not at all particular.  And thanks for letting me know how that works.

Not yet.

Just a note to everyone - the site is not always notifying me about new PM's or new replies.  I'm logging in to check for them every couple of hours.  Don't think I'm ignoring anyone.

There is NO DEAL yet.  I've had a lot of messages about how to pay for it, but no money has changed hands.

If you're interested, crash has offered to get it out of Oregon but he's only in the area until tomorrow (Sunday).

IT IS STILL AVAILABLE.  And I'm not sure why...

Im confused
There are a ton of good reasons to buy a hobie . I just got a revo last month and love it.

Simply fishing is a great tourney lots of reasons to love that too. Good place, people, sponsors, fishing and great to help Steph.

But why would you be excited to fish simply with a hobie? You remember you can't use a mirage drive right?

I was just saying I'm excited to be able to fish in most occasions with the peddles.  Wasn't planning to fish Simply, it was just brought up as a place where I could pick it up from Crash.  And yea, I'm aware there are no peddles at Simply, it's why I enjoyed that tournament so much, even playing field :p

Picked up the Hobie last night from Jeff (Codzilla)!

Thanks again for these wonderful NCKA folks for facilitating the transfer of the boat down to my hands, and thanks Tinker for a sweet deal on a great looking yak.  I will definitely be putting it to good use soon.

See you guys out on the water!

Big thanks to crash and the other NCKA Express volunteers I didn't get a chance to meet.

This is a great "program" for moving things painlessly throughout the NCKA community and I can't say enough good things about all you folks.

Enjoy the boat, Curtis.  She was good to me.
