Looks like I'll be OTW at 9 o'clock for a little Rockfish jigging this Friday. Company welcome, stay tuned to channel 69!

I think Fort Ross is close, the road going to the launch area is under construction.

Is there any trick to not having to pay 10 dollars every time you go SW at the gate to 17 miles?

Carmel is No joke of a beach launch. Unless u want to yard sale, I suggest don't be frugal and pay that 10 for a much safer and better launch at SWS

SW cove access is suppose to be free imo. The place was donated by a nice lady that passed and PB promised to let everyone use it. Not a real big fan bc of this!

Two out of last three times I passed by the gate around 5:30 am, the guy just waved me through.

that whole process of collecting fees is  sketchy and that’s exactly my point. Why do they charge some and not everyone.

You guys are talking about Stillwater South. OP is referring to the Sonoma Coast and Stillwater North.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Lmao, there’s a turn just north of the regional park.  The unload 10min parking spot. Unload all u need... Park you’re vehicle up the hill south of the unload at the turnout. ... walk back to the unload spot. There’s a shortcut thru the trees and creek traverse thru that . Roll ur kayak to the beach over the rocks onto the sand...into the water... hopefully that’s easy enough.
