 Hey All,   :smt006

  Just a heads up,

Taking my son back to UCSC on Saturday, 1/12/19.

I usually stop by Cowel Beach and watch the waves before heading home.

It's about 9pm, find a parking spot overlooking the waves just before where the stairs are and a resident motor home  :smt023. Step out of the truck, snag a smoke on the side walk, chilling, watching waves by the moon set, maybe 5 minutes,,

I'm headed north just past Davenport and my right shoulder is tightening up,,, long story longer, I've got a monster tick buried in the right side of my neck. I turn off the next dark road I can find and it's a real narrow, weird, funky road that I can't pull over or turn around with scary houses and I'm starting to think this is just where this story is about to begin,,,   :what :evil1:  :smt087

It's hard to get a grip on it, no nails , no tweezes just finger tips but I get it,, I think anyway with a counter clockwise turn as your supposed to do for some reason..  ok,,back home,,

  hot tub,, shower, ,, WTF!!!???

Another One ???!!!, but this one has had time,,, further searches finds One More,,   :smt009

   OUCH!!!  :smt089

  End of Story ,,,

Glad you got those nasty buggers of your neck.  Hope that will be the end of the story/

Glad you found those critters ! Went to Davenport one day with two other people and we walked on the trail for like five minuets. Got back in the car and headed Dow the highway. One of the guys started to freak out because he had a tick on his neck.  So we pull over and did a quick inspection and found two more. When he got home he took all his clothes and put it in a plastic bag as a precaution. We all did,  and in the morning he found two more in the bag.  Weird that he was the only on who attracted tick🤷🏻‍♂️

         OK,,

Glad I put up a post as there is Definitely something going on,

  it's one thing to pick up a tick ,, but for total "Tet Offensive ,,, "  :blob8: :blob6: :blob5: :blob3: :blob10: :blob10: :blob3: :blob8: :blob9: :blob8: :blob1:

I think the Warning is valid,,

these are nasty bites too,,

  Interesting and more info:

When I got home, it looked as though the "head" was still in my neck. Remembering my "old" info that the head has to come out,, I had to do some pretty barbaric surgery to my neck to get it out and bleed it a bit, without being able to see the area so well.

Turns out post Dr. visit, you don't have to worry abut the head being lodged in your body and just wait for it to normally move on.

I now have to be on antibiotics for my, "Wes Cravin" surgery performance on myself,,,

Deer, they carry and spread them. Lots of deer roam those areas and use the bushes to scrape them off, then the tics find another host... :smt078
Come on out! It's time to play. It's time for TROUT Bass and STRIPER. Let go of the hand brake!
