I said my final goodbye to my cat TC today.  :smt010 Hardest thing I've EVER done, and that sucked!  He's resting in a nice garden setting  in our yard now.

My condolences buddy!  It isn't easy, that's for sure.  Maybe TC and my dog, Snickers, are frolicking somewhere up in pet heaven.  I had to put her down over the summer.  She'd been in the family since I turned 10.  Man I cried like a baby. :smt010   I agree, hardest thing I've ever done.  Hang in there Troy, times will get better but you'll never forget.

Yes, it is definitely a sad day when we lose our animal friends. I've been there, too, and send you hugs.

My condolences Troy pets don't ask for much and give us a lotta love in return. 15 years ago my 14 year old cat that was slowing down big time just dissapeared, we looked for days and still miss poor old Widow. It's nice that you kept TC close to you even in the after life.

Troy, I've made a couple one-way doggie visits to the shelter in Scott's Valley.  I know what you mean.

that definitely sucks, but take some consolation in knowing that you did your best to provide TC with the life while he was here...

Thanks all.  Still sucks! He had a growth on his tail that was basically shutting down his back end, legs, urinary, corn hole, ribs back were failing.  I could see in his eyes his confusion as to why he wasn't able to walk normal. It was time.  He, as a kitten used to sleep on my left shoulder, and that where he laid as he went to sleep.
Were now looking for a "Tortois shell" white & black long hair kitten.

P.S. I'm finished with this post.  Time to move on.....

I'm really sorry about your cat. I guess that most folks here are maybe more dog people but I know what it is like to loose an old dear friend of either species.

I'm really very sorry.  I have lost a few; cats and dogs and it really friggin hurts; especially late at night. Please accept my simple basic human empathy.

I won't tell you stories of how I have sadly lost various cats and dogs.

I always get a new kitten and puppy and cry a little for two years.  My way.

Life is good.  Concrats on your new Hobie.
