Toby

My Lab Retriever mix at 10 weeks.  Kind of looks Mooch's picture of Hunter at that age.

At work I was feeding a Pheasant he was really flighty you couldn't get near him and his hen you would rarely see.  They had babies then moved on. A few months later I spot an immature male standing next to my truck, so I start feeding him he is really bold, when I come to work he is in my spot waiting for me, then sorta chases/follows me to the door, and when I leave he chases my car. Everybody at works cracks up. Yesterday he ate out of my hand. He has  a mate but you rarely see her and if you do she takes off. It's pretty funny he acts like my dog if I walk the lot he follows me everywhere.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

My German Shorthair Pointer found your rooster's twin this past hunting season.  Mike, I'm sorry to say this bird wasn't as lucky.:cowboy_cool:

This is bad kitty, aka B.O.B. (big 'ol bub). He is an argus monitor and should not even be able to get up on the shelf he is sitting on.  :smt012 He doesn't like anyone much unless he is hungry then he is your best friend. :smt009 :smt008

Don't let his size fool you he is one of the fastest monitors and can cross that cage quicker than you can register the noise of him first moving. He is not very docile but only really scary when he is hungry.

This isn't my dog, but he impressed the hell out of me when I was in Hawaii a couple of years ago. He'll jump into Kealakekua Bay and swim way out, sometimes over a mile, to hang out with the dolphins. He usually swims back, like on the day I saw him, but the locals told me that he sometimes gets so excited, he forgets to swim back in.  A kayaker will pick him up and paddle him back. In one case, the dolphins saw that he was struggling and held him up until a kayaker picked him up.  I've had some enthusiastic water dogs in my life, but this one is something else!

For some time now, Mooch has been suggesting that I try taking my dog Aki out on the kayak.  I hesitated knowing how much she hate canoes and motor boats.  Well, yesterday I gave it a try during a July 4th party on a lagoon.  That dog loved it so much, she would hop from the dock into the tankwell on her own and stay there until someone took her out for a spin.
