me :smt006

That was a memorable derby cause we got to fish with several so cal guys AND the conditions were the BEST I've ever seen. It was so calm out there, you couldn't even locate Mavericks  :smt045

And seeing a newbie like Brian - land a monster ling at a high pressured fishing spot was definitely icing on the cake  :smt038

Just a reminder: Hwy 1 / Devils Slide is still closed - so, the only way to get to HMB is through Hwy 92 or Hwy 1 (coming from the South). Traffic is gonna suck (but don't let that stop you from getting together with your fellow NCKA'ers) - so try to get there early to beat the traffic.

HMB is totally cut off From Linda Mar  :smt013

I'll talk to Mike from Ono Hawaiian Grill and see if he can cater for us - Bill, what do you think?

I'm in, but would love to know the date as soon as possible. I have zero saltwater fishing experience, so need a few pratice runs for something other than Bass and Trout.

Is there camping in the area, or do we need to find a hotel?
