Last week while cleaning up my gear from a little paddle, I broke one of my Ugly Sticks in between the first and second eye.  It was my favorite rod as it was a four piece rod that I take with me when I'm on the road.  I had another Ugly Stick that was heavier that was missing an eye.  Not the part wrapped to the rod, but just the circle.  Anyway, I took some pics and shot their customer service a few along with the story.  It only took a couple of days to get  a response.  I didn't have my receipts and figured it was a long shot, but they are sending me two replacement rods.  I just had to pay the shipping.  No hassles, no fuss, nothing but great customer service.  I'm hoping to see them in the next day or two.  Now I just wish I still had my Calcutta!

Thanks Shakespeare. :smt006

Ha, Ha.  No kidding, I was thinking of my old Calcutta reel as I was typing the post. Yes the shoutout was meant for Shakespeare.  Got both of my rods already and can't wait to get them set up and out on the water!
