kayak fishing in the rain?

I must be a sicko-I can watch that motorcycle vs. lightning clip a thousand times and I still cant stop from laughing when it nails him.....i feel so bad...I am gonna watch again now

That was just a static (secondary) strike to him.  He would have been in pain if he had taken the full hit.

Thanks for the info from everyone. I ended up going out and catching a few strippers. I think I need to find some waterproof fishing pants and top next though

Rain not a problem, Hail not a problem, snow not a problem. The biggest problem beside lightening is wind, Big Problem.

The reason several said fishing in the rain is no big deal is because we dress for immersion - go with that first, then you'll realize rain isn't anything to stop a kayakfishing trip.

Lightning is definitely something to watch out for.

Ther's strippers in the sloughs down there? They must be full of "fisherman" every weekend.
