My big dream has come true... I have landed a job in Sonoma County! I cannot wait to explore this beautiful area. Today, I drove down to Bodega Bay just to breathe some salt water air!  :smt001

I have accepted a contract in town and am looking forward to moving into my new apartment asap. The only challenge.... there is literally no room for my kayak... so now to find a storage unit for the yak somewhere close in. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
 :smt006

Welcome to Sonoma county. We have lots of good fishing spots in easy driving distance. I don't have any suggestions on storage for you. I usually keep mine on my truck racks.

Well, almost settled in and exploring. What a great place to live! Still need to get my kayak up here. In the meanwhile, I tried my hand with surf fishing for perch after reading a lot about it and both times got no bites, but viewed beautiful water. Any suggestions for surf fishing locations along the Sonoma coast?
