Hello All,
Was wondering what your  opinions on this kayak, speed, stability,
And if there's anyone going to GS12 that has one that would let me test it.
I have found a 2014 that is missing the drive, and any help with  replacement options would be greatly appreciated.
Basic pros and cons would help me out.

Thank you

Speed: the Adventure 16/Revo 16 is the fastest production pedal kayak in existence that works well for fishing.

Stability: This is personal preference. If you use traditional narrow sit-in kayaks it will feel super stable, but if you are coming from the newer fishing “kayaks” that are as wide as they are long it will feel tippy. I take mine out in rough conditions all the time and like how it handles.

Lots of people opt for the Revo 13 instead because it is a tad lighter and easier to store. The 16 really excels in big chop and when punching through the surf.

If you find one for sale without the drive, be extra careful to verify it wasn’t stolen, since the missing drive is a red flag. Also, as you have probably found, replacement drives are quite expensive.
Wanted to buy: Stealth ProFisha 575 or 525

Thanks for that,

I've been paddling a ocean kayak prowler big game for years.
34" wide with 600 lbs capacity. I'm thrilling at the thought of peddling but not sure of the stability. What are your thoughts on the AMA pontoons ? Would the just be in the way for fishing.

My primary ocean boat is a 2013 (Old seat) Adventure. I also use a Cobra Marauder occasionally. The only time the Adventure feels at all unstable is the first hour or so after using the Marauder (31" wide) for a few days. Occasionally on a short interval following sea it gets a bit squirmy but that goes for any 16 ft boat. Have only needed the paddle in my hands to brace one time in that situation so far. Otherwise, the Adventure is fine. I have considered and Aka/Ama  on one side OC 1 style, but that is more for extra storage space as there is not a whole lot of deck space on the Adventure.
Definitely try one before buying if coming from a much wider boat though.
Good luck making the decision

My primary fishing kayak was a 2013 Adventure, until I eventually upgraded to a (used) 2014 AI. I agree with all that the others have said. The Adventure actually sails pretty well in light-ish winds without amas, which I think says something about the stability. I've never used the small amas, but anything should be untippable with those.
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...

I have a Revo 16 and I will never go back to Revo 13. You can learn stability, but you kayak can’t learn speed.

Just curious, but does that mean the Revo 13 feels more stable than the Revo 16? Never pedaled a Revo 13, but I'd have thought the 13 and 16 would be about the same in terms of stable-ness...

16 is narrower than the 13. I definitely felt it on my first time on it

I'll be at GS12 if you wanna try my 2012. It's an AI but I'm not planning on bringing the amas/alas/sail.  I'll be fishing Friday, Sat (obviously), and Sunday if you want to take it for a spin.

Funny thing 4est.  I have the exact yak you are talking about - Revo 16 with the small pontoons.  But I am not going this year to GS12.
Remember when you drag me out off the water last year, I was on Michael Yamata's Hobie  Revo 13.  Before the wave that flipped me, I had another close call with the following sea.  I'm quite if I was on my Revo 16, I would flipped on that wave.  Can't really prove it.  But I had that feeling if that helps.
My Revo 16 is a much more efficient craft.  Not much on deck space though.
