Since I signed on for the pool last night I thought I would make a trip to the store to load up on needed supplies.  I have had mixed experiences with spring scales of all qualities, but someone recommended a mustad unit that was cheap at 9.95.

I brought it home and tried it with a 2.5# ball, 2 balls and a 15# dumbell. It was spot on on all three weights.  The model is MSTD-8...two thumbs up.  Much better than the $40.00 alternative.

Thanks for the tip Sean. I think I might pick one up. I have a digital but it is good to have a second opinion.
