Modified GPS/Fish Finder location for Crab fishing

Tried out the flush mount fish finder/gps unit on the center hatch cover for crab fishing. It was hard but dualable to see the dual screen in black and white so I adjusted to see the GPS screen for marking my buoy to crab pot/net. The purpose of moving the fish finder/GPS unit to the center hatch was to accommodate my crab pot just in front of my feet of the foot brace/rudder controls. The crab pot sat on two Scott gear head adaptors with one on each side of the tracks. Transducer will be best to be installed inside of the kayak. This trial run worked great. If you plane to go this route you're best on buying a second center hatch like I did. Fish finder would have to be permanently glued on the hatch to sealed out water intrusion into the hull.
