Picked up my Revo 13 today

After lots and lots of reading and thinking, I settled on a Revo 13 as my next boat.

I started looking at the classifieds and Craigslist. Everything was either pre-2010 or overpriced. I specifically wanted a 2010. V2 drive, less prone to drivewell cracks, and light.

I had seen that Benzo (Ben) had mentioned he had gotten a 2015, and would be unloading his 2010. I pm'd him, and we made a deal.

I picked it up today, beautiful drive from Sacramento to the bay minus a bit of traffic.

Kayak is in great shape for a 7 year old boat and has some rigging done already.

Planning to put it in the water this week and then I'll make changes as needed. Doubt it will need much, pretty much just need to pick a FF.

Turbo fins and sailing rudder will be picked up from CCK asap.

Stoked is an understatement.

Congrats! After trying a couple other Hobie models I came back to the Revo 13. Just a great all around kayak.
