Yeah, I know of Mariko's work.  I saw a small display in Fort Bragg last summer, and was impressed and inspired. Very cool work.  Mendo is such an inspirational place I wish I could spend two months up there every year and dive and paint.

As far as the writing goes. I hear it every once and a while so I was not surprised.  You should see what happens when fuzz goes over my stuff.  He could pretty much write a dissertation with little errors or idiosyncrasies.(big word, have headache) :smt003

So why don't you spend two months per year here to dive and paint?

And who or what is "fuzz"?

I'm kinda insulted.   :smt005

Amadeo is by far the best "painting fishies person" that I have ever met.  His pieces are truly inspirational and I am constantly amazed at the details he can replicate with his watercolors.

Absolutely beautiful work.  I think NCKA should feel privileged  that you chose the forum to highlight some of your work.

Matt,

Mariko’s link at http://www.mariko-irie.com/morningligjt.htm didn’t work for me but if I cut it to  http://www.mariko-irie.com it worked fine.  She does great work also.

Beautiful work! I've been to your site before, but I can't remember if I found it through NCKA or if I've ran into your work through other fishing web sites. I'll have to remember your site for gifts!  :smt007

Damn, if I fished the ocean I'd wanna hook that fish and the salmon!  I wouldn't have known it was a painting.
