I am going to brew up a keg of beer for the tourney (5 gallon keg).

My specialty is pale ale, but I can whip up a pretty wicked IPA and stout too.

Also, indicate the strength of beer you like, I can get ales up to 8% if you want me too.

Well, here is what I decided to do.

I am brewing an Oatmeal Imperial Stout tomorrow.  Thick, chewy and STRONG.  I will bottle this beer.

I will brew a slightly less alcoholic pale ale/ipa hybrid for the keg.

Hope you all will enjoy the brew.

Brewed the beer yesterday.  I was shooting for an imperial stout, and got it, but just barely.  Wort tasted good, it is anticipated to be ~8% ABV and is black as night.

MMmmmm.....

Racked the stout to secondary, it looks as though it is gonna be fairly dry and around 8.5% ABV.

It tasted great, and by the time BaM rolls around, this is gonna be a great beer.

I brewed a pale ale yesterday, and I am thinking of something funky to brew just to have a bit of variety, maybe a wee heavy or an scottish red....

We should have a decent amount of homebrew to go with all the great food that is cooked at this event.

How about some BREW for Elk?  Do you know how to brew Pabst? Nah, just kidding.

LOL.

Unfortunately I can only brew ales.  I don't have the temp control to brew lagers yet.

I don't think I will be at Elk.

Maybe Elk should be a wine event. I'll bring a couple of bottles of juice from the local hills.

CHEERS!

Just bottled the Imperial Oatmeal Skank Stout.  (Skank is a nickname for one of my cats, all of my beers are named after my pets).

It turned out at a healthy 8.25% ABV and is quite tastey.

I'm brewing an Extra Special Bitter tomorrow, and I have a Pale Ale in secondary fermentation to be bottled next week.  (all three of these are going to be entries in the County Fair Brewing contest.

I will then brew a keg of pale ale, so I should have 4 varieties of beer for you all to sample at the B@M II.

Just brewed the ESB.  Should be another good and strong beer.

Pale ale next weekend.

That's an idea.

I'm not sure where I can get the hemp seed though.....Do you have a source that I can get hemp from quickly?
