Title: Old striper picture
Post by: Sharkie on February 24, 2018, 07:04:29 AM
Too cold and windy to fish, so...here is a picture of my Great Grandmother, not sure of the vintage, maybe about 1920. She was an orphan from the mission of San Juan Bautista, 100% Mexican. Never met her or my Grandmother, she died it 1954. The shot was taken I believe on 9th st. in Richmond
In the picture my guess is she must be about 5ft 2inches, so the fish may be 35 or 40 pounds. Also have a picture of my Great Grandfather with a huge king salmon I will try to dig up. I love these shots.

Ready to tear it up this year...new bands on my two guns, kayak and boat ready to go...hope to get to Baja for a long trip also! Ron
