so Dave needed more rod storage on the back of the marauder but did not want a crate back
there so I thought PVC would do the trick now he has a place to put his fish and store more rods and a net
and a gaff + he can reach this much easer than the old way thouse rod holders in back are just to far back
to be of any use.
I also posted a pic of his cup holder I think it is the best i have seen it will hold a 40Oz :smt007
cant beat that :smt005
check it out :smt006

The front rod holders are rams new ones they are not bad for an all plastic construction
Dave seems to like them got them at KFS.

Nice clean job on the PVC

Duane:
I really like that idea, but why are you against the milk crate concept. Those ram mounts are real nice, but expensive.

Dave don't like to hang his catch over the side when he is fishing in the ocean, with a crate back there you have no place
to put let's say a large ling or a bunch of rocks and the hatch in front of him is always full of gear and he is to fat to get
to the front hatch :smt044 so I think this will work for him. :smt007

Duane: Nice job!
Do you think we could rig something like that on my trident, using the flushmounts behind the cockpit?
I don't like the angle, and some of my bigger rod butts are too tight for those rod holers. Also making two into four is twice as good, for net, gaff, etc.
I've been using the crate less and less, though i've fit a lot of fish in there occasionally.

yeah, I'm thinking just mount it backwards from the marauder setup. The trick part I gues is getting the corect compound anle outta the flushmounts, so it's straight and flat to the gunnels.
BTW, good luck tomorrow....a big flattie in your immediate future?
