Title: Soft plastics on bounce ball rigs
Post by: HG yak on July 29, 2017, 12:35:22 PM
So for a while Ive been hearing about people using soft plastic lures typically used for rockfish and lingcod, on the end of bounce ball rigs right after a dodger for halibut. I was wondering what kind of lures and what size of lures are typically used with this method of fishing?

I've been doing a lot of bounce balling lately, but mostly just hoochies. I'd be interested to hear more about other options too. It seems to me you'd need something that has minimal drag or the action of the dodger will be affected.
