Dan, Really looking forward to more reviews. I am new to the kayak world and looking to buy my first kayak. How would the Viking be for a beginner? Also plan on a lot of river and lake fishing with a little bit of ocean. Is the Viking more of ocean kayak?

If you haven't test paddled one of these Viking Kayaks, I would highly recommend it.  The speed is incredible.  It is the only kayak I use.  My Reload has plenty of storage (to the point of a previous comment) with the Reload TacklePod and the various hatches.  Also, the $2,300 price point referenced earlier IS NOT US DOLLARS! I got mine for something like $1200.  Here is a picture.  Hope you like it and can make your way to Headwaters to give one a test paddle!!  Dan is a good guy and really thinks these Viking are going to be a huge hit here.
