First butts on the yak. Hoping to upsize next time I'm out.  Any suggestions on other types of rigs that are good for halibut using artificial baits?

Hello everyone,

My name is Eric James, and I recently got into fishing as a hobby a little over a year ago.  I had fished once or twice before that, but it's definitely how I prefer to spend my free time now when i'm not at work.  Even more recently I bought my first kayak (2017 Hobie Revolution 11), and it has been awesome.  I've mainly fished for LMB, SMB, trout, halibut, striper, and rock fish from shore, so I look forward to getting into some new species on the kayak this season.  Glad to get into the group, and I'm looking forward to possibly getting to meet some of you on the water some time.
