WTB: Rudder for OK Trident 15

Looking for a used set for Trident 15. The best I could find is $225 - 15%.
If I cannot find a used one, I am going to the drawing board and make one.

It was nice to meet you at Bolinas the other day.

I tried for the longest time to find a used one, with no luck. Finally I broke down and just bought a Trident with one.

If you need a template from my rudder, let me know. But you would still have to buy the rudder controls.

Yeah my arms still hurt from paddling one side.
I know drawing and cutting metal won't be financially smart, but it gives me the satisfaction in my gears. I'll let you know. Will post what I can come up with.

Take a look at the SIK suppliers and SIK forums for rudders. Same principles for steering as a foot controlled SOT.  I converted from foot control to hand on the SIK that I put a Hobie drive in. I like the SIK aluminum rudder better than Hobie's system. 1/8 pull up blade. Simple and effective.

T13 and T15 I assume is same rudder just different length cables? I have T13 rudder somewhere in the garage. I will check when I get home.

Yes it is the same. only longer cable for T15.

A rudder does sound nice, but from Austin C&K they want 225 (like you said), and I can't bring myself to pay that.  If the rudder for the 13 wont work for you, I'd take it!
