Second Annual Pay It Forward Paddle Official Report! 6-25-2011

thanks Baitman and Ravensblack for the duel and raising some serious cash.  A hulls, you guys rock.  I toss in a few bucks and feel almost (almost  ) bad about leaving with more goodies than I could have bought.  That dive board is going to see a lot of use from shark_bait.  Thanks Bloodbath.

Yakhopper used Shark_baits net for the salmon.  First salmon that net has seen.  Hopefully some mojo rubbed off  

all the food was amazing but I have to call out special notes to the sausage grilling team.  One grilling, one cutting, trying to keep up with a pack of hyenas  .  Carnitas from heaven, lamb of the gods...

Lets do this every weekend 

Al - love the race video but it didn't really do justice to the separation.  I was fishing at the red buoy with Eugene and Shark Bait and made 2 drifts from the the time Craig rounded the buoy till when Baitman rounded. Scott

Had a great time as usual with this group. Good food as always. Started out just cruising along talking with everyone around. Decided at the meet up area I would go ahead and fish.  Just trying to get the skunk off of 4 trips. It took a while but finally started get it going. Caught my 1st rockfish and Ling out there. Ling was 21.99999 inches long and went back in. Got back to shore just in time to bail in the 6 inch surf. That makes me 1 for 2 in safe landings. Planned on fishing today, but had to take off last night and get home. Something came up. Here are a few pics.

SUPER Duper bummed that I had to miss this one! Looks like a fun time was had by all, cant wait for the next A hull event!!!

OMG too much fun for a good cause! It was a great turnout, perfect place and company, the floating barge/bar was a kick...
and A HUGE THANX for replacing my yak, I love the new ride and will guard this one like its a kid!

Brothers and sisters, what an event!! Fantastic food, the greatest company, as well as some cool prizes  Thank you to the entire A-Hulls crew for putting together this year's PIF, but most importantly everyone who was so gracious to donate their time/gifts and to everyone who attended. Without y'all, it wouldn't have been a success.

My love goes out to each and everyone one of y'all, and I look forward to continue to build our friendships!! See everyone soon!!

I am always impressed and touched by the unselfish generosity of this group. NCKA is amazing! Thank you to all the members involved for the hard work you put into this event. Thanks also to the people and companies that donated raffle prizes.

Thank you everyone who had anything to do with Pay it Forward 2011, we all made this happen together, and boy, what a turnout!!

See what can be accomplished when people come together? Keep up the momentum and speak up for your cause, whatever it is, and PAY IT FORWARD BABY!!!!!

And Congrats to Daniel dpshim for the big win!!!!! I was very happy the Kayak was won by someone present at the event so we could all take part in the immediate celebration.

    See there,,,    exactly why Craig  wanted to start the race at 8 am.     We missed out on all the OTW fun... 
  Didn't miss a thing at the food table though !    FishMaster's Chicken..  Jedmo Ceviche...   There was no shortage of food or drink... or prizes.
   I was so sore the next day...  Advil didn't help.   Still I had a big smile on my face thinking about it.    Truthfully , if  we were both paddling the same boat  I would'nt have  been able to keep up with The Ravensblack.   It must have been his new paddle...         BTW.  Raptors avg speed over that 3.3 mile course was 4.1 mph.    Not too bad for an old man paddling it.
   
 BigJim...  I'm glad you got the Mosquito !   You deserved it after all you put in to make this event happen.  Thank YOU too Sara and Al, and everyone else who made  this event happen.   You're all awesome , and I'm humbled to be in your company.
