inseine and bill making waves...

mike / miyak and his green machine....

NCKA crew searching for the elusive mendo striper.....

chuck, bill, chris and travis heading up river.....kinda reminded me of the movie "Deliverance"....

these deer were very fortunate that joe "rambo" skyboy was not around....or else they would all be walking funny....

bob and the dilemma...but despite the unfortunate event, bob still managed to be in good spirits....

rear tire....

front tire...

....could have been worse...

travis doing what he could to help a brother out....he tried towing the bob's truck but no luck there....

despite the help from travis....nothing could be done....for now at least...

the cavalry arrives but gets into trouble himself by getting stuck on some loose sand.....
....but john/jdyak saves the day by helping out the would-be-rescuer....

...a scwafish offspring enjoying life....

Thank you Sean and Leah for hosting this tournament and bringing us all together (again).  It was definitely a fun filled weekend that raised everyone’s cholesterol level!!!

The GROSS proceeds are being donated towards the Hurricane Katrina victims PLUS my company (Brocade Communications) is offering a 100% matching contribution!!!!

I had assumed Sean meant NET proceeds (after campsite fees, Keg, etc), but it’s 100% of our Registration fees.  Sean’s philosophy is that they were going to donate money anyways, so why not turn it into a fun event that would generate even MORE money to help those in need.  What a great idea!

Rockhopper, congrats on a very nice fish!  Mickfish Mike, your 2 stripers in two day’s is quite an accomplishment given the tough bite.  What were you using for bait?  Marinated Bendo Mendo Prawns?

I really like all the pictures so far.

Here's is one of my daughter's with our catch on Sunday AM:
It's a blue bellied lizard that she put to sleep by rubbing its tummy

Both kids enjoying the swing @ Mendo:

Cheers,
Stuart

.....by the way....I'd like to know the culprit who planted a banana in my kayak's dry box  :smt076 ....the worst part is that the banana was rotten and so I could not even eat it  for breakfast :smt011 . I have a feeling it was planted by either Erik K or Chris / Cpyak....the reason why I suspect these guys is that there were hippo footprints right around the scene of the crime  :smt025

....also, Cobra Ric was another victim of this vicious act of vandalism.....and guess who he blamed    :smt109   :smt013

Wasn't me man... I wouldn't do that to you... (even though I know you'd do it to me)... plus, I found a banana in my fish bag as well...  finally, eventhough my footprints might resemble those of a Hippo... I'd rather leave Hippo tracks than Gnome tracks...   :smt003

It was gonna be me, but my bananas got buried in my luggage and never made it out.....

I'm innocent.

oh you guys kill me, I'm sitting here reading about bananas and LMAO :smt005 but seriously :smt018 you should know better than to play with bananas, at first I was sad that I didn't go :smt009 but now learning of shenanigans with bananas :smt012  I'm rather relieved I didn't go.  Still funny though! :smt098  Congrats to Dustin on the fine striper, WTG, also, nice catfish bill.

Wow, Kool seeing all those kayaks in one place, on the beach!  Too bad the bite wasn't on.  Having the bite on would have made the trip that much better!
Question for the kat fishers.  What was the bait of choice for them that weekend,  good ol' chicken liver? Or something else?
  Great photos!

Anyone happen to check out the night sky for stars while there?

I believe most cats were caught on live minnows.
