My name is Sean and I live in Cottonwood (just south of Redding). I always have loved fishing for lingcod and rockfish and thought this would be a way I could fish more often. I hope to get a few pointers and possibly tag along if anyone fishes out of Trinidad or Crescent city would allow it. I have yet to venture out in the Ocean on my kayak but have been catching bass at Shasta lake and love it.

Hey there welcome I'm over the hills in humboldt and hit Trinidad regularly. You might want to check out the lost coast kayak anglers on Facebook as most ppl post there hookups/ info on there.

Welcome Humbletaxi!  There's a good group of us in the area, you're more than welcome to join us anytime we head out.  A few of us fished Shasta on Monday in the rain and did okay.
