Decide to come with my dad to still water cove this morning . We suited up and after a short paddle we were out there , he got in the water and started to dive while I paddled around fishing . After a few drops the bit was on they were going mad . Since the visibility was so magnificent I could see the action. After catching a small grass rock cod a nice size ling came and attacked him after the fight about ten feet from the kayak it let go , I was bummed but great to see but on the bright side it was awesome to see and also caught two fat grass rock fish I am so glad I came out with my dad this morning.

Awesome, Kris!  Great to see you getting out with the old man!  I have great memories of fishing with you guys at GS3.  It's been a long time, man - hope you can make it up next May.  Great job on the fishing and getting out there.   :smt001

It felt really good to get in the water and shoot some fish. What felt even better was watching my son Kris fight some nice fish in Crystal clear water it was something else. I passed on A few ling shots cause they looked just barely legal. Lots of black and yellows as well as grassies. The usual flock of huge perch and a lot of young seals were plentiful.. We had A great time out there as the weather was perfect! Kris wants A dive suit with all the gear for his birthday/Christmas this year! Im very excited!!!

Nice work, those are some solid fish.  All this talk of clear water makes me want to dive in too.   :smt003
