Great report, and looks like a fantastic hook up!  Love the group pics and the one with the clouds!  What a catfish, that is the largest I have seen from Lake Sonoma.  Great that the smallies are on the prowl!

Lots of fun, not a lot of fish. Chuck found this little gem and gave it to me, any ideas how to prepare it?

Speaking of Guitarzan the Hot Dog Man. This man among men took orders over the radio and I 'll be damned if he didnt bring us a hot lunch on the water. HOORAY FOR BEN!

Then yea it looked real nice and mellow most of the time until............

Then the best fisherperson besides Saltykitty was................

Speaking of pussies, I left early.  But I saw this on the way home.

Thanks for the hook-up Eric B. The fish were thgere at around 80ft and not biting. There was a bass tourney going on and even the bassmasters couldnt scratch up fish so I didnt feel too bad. Mickfish, you are a crack up as usual.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that was there.  Naoaki and I didn't catch anything, but we definitely enjoyed your company.

I got to see the hatchery for the first time, so that was nice.  Got to watch some interesting fish behavior first hand.  The trout were spawning and it was cool watching the females make a nest and the males fighting over her.  I've never seen soooo many fish in the river before.  I was inching to grab my fishing pole and catch a couple.  I promise I would have put them back. :smt003

As soon as we got to the boat ramp and started to unload, it started to pour.  I thought about not going out on the water at all cuz I didn't want to be out in the rain.  Good thing I changed my mind, because other wise I would have missed out on the huge bald eagle that was enjoying the spoils of his catch in a tree right in front of us.  And I would have missed out on Mooch trying to get its attention.

We weren't planning on staying....didn't know if I would be able to handle the cold...so we didn't bring anything, but everyone was nice enough to invite us over to the camp ground with them for dinner.  The food was super good and we had a great time around the camp fire.  Thank you so much and we owe you one!  We regretted not bring camping gear just in case, but next time we will plan on staying for sure and we will bring some yummy food to share with everyone.

Good seeing everyone again and meeting some new people.  Mooch we are going to miss you! :smt006
