I'm thinking of hitting Berryessa on Saturday AM looking for some trout or ? Gotta use up the last of my 2018 license.  Considering launching at Putah Creek ramp. Splashing in around 7:30.  Gonna be cold but way better than going to the mall.  Who's crazy enough to join me? :smt044

I ended the day with a big ole skunk!  I trolled in front of the ramp for about 2 hours and in that time I farmed 4 trout, one was about 20 inches, lost boat side.  Then I made a critical error...I left fish to find fish.  Bad move.  I went up Putah Creek to seek out other fish that weren't there.  Too much boat traffic and ended up with zilch!  I did drag for bass for about a half hour but couldn't find anyone that wanted to play. Met up with a few other yakkers...Vinny, Bill and Mark...glad to meet you guys.  Seemed like there was a good representation of the Plastic Navy out there.  Until next time.

Damn, me too. A big fat skunk for me today. Not even a bite for me. I launched from Markely Cove around 7ish and trolled half the way up Pleasure Cove and back. Was too confident before I left so I only brought trolling rods and gear for toplining. Trolled Rapalas in firetiger, rainbow and shad, sizes of j7, j9, and f7, a 2.5 inch rebel jointed minnow, assorted kastmasters, spoons, and a few cripplures. I'm at Turtle Rock watching football and drinking now.

Bravo!  At least we went and gave it hell.  We could have stayed home and mowed da lawn  :)
