OK.  I've made the change to remove the old Hookups board and combine with the Fishing Reports board.

There are 2 flavors of Hookups and Fishing Reports board.  The first is viewable by the general public.  The second is only viewable to members with 10 posts or greater.

In keeping with the new theme.  Both the Hookup and the Fishing Report should go in the same thread.  This also adds continuity to the hookup/report.

Hmm... This new format will take a little getting used to. I liked being able to browse the reports and hookups separately, and being able to tell what's what. Not all reports are paired with a hookup (many of my fishing trips are spontaneous, last-minute adventures), and not all hookups end with a report (wouldn't that be nice!).

Either way, thank you for your efforts on keeping this forum running like a well-oiled machine.

Cheers,

-Alex

Ok...
Well I've just recently started fishing from a kayak. Some previous canoe and kayak experience. Although, I also felt some of my motorcycle riding skills were useful on the yak. Been working on the rigging for my OK Prowler trident. Stuff is coming together. Pictures hopefully soon
 Cheers :occasion14:

So that's why I couldn't see the hookups board.  Thought it was weird that I could only see general public hookups.

I like the idea of the 10 posts.
So I'm either going to put in at Half Moon Bay or Timber Cove next month. Can't decide which. 1st time back in the coastal waters, in a yak, in a long time. It was in the kelp beds off Fort Ross, in an inflatable two person yak, catching cabazone and blue cod. Very exciting  :fishing2
Other than that...I recently completed a 1/2 day yak trip off San Juan Island into the Haro Strait about 1.5 mi from the US-Canadian border. Awesome experience, both from a paddling standpoint and the beauty of the place.
