Went out for a dive today with Jason and Michael. Had some great water with 1-2' swell, and 25-30' vis. Dropped down and shot a small ling right off the bat. Jason shot a couple cabs. We moved in to some shallower water where the vis was better. I took a drop right under my buddies kayak in 25' and saw a nice big smile under a rock. Popped it and pulled up a 25" cab.
Got back to shore and weighed it in. I was pretty stoked it was the new pole spear world record I had been eying for quite some time. More like years...and years. I check the records to go submit it and see someone beat me to it 2 weeks ago. :smt044 Years of getting close and when I finally get it I miss it by 2 WEEKS! Hahaha oh well. We had a great day on the water.
