My Son and I went fishing at San-Pablo Res on Sunday it was a last minuet fishing trip. We where on the water at 8am and off at 3:30, we trolled from the launch ramp to the Dam and spent the remainder of the day at the Dam area. Between the both of us we hooked up five times and only boated one small trout. You talk about lock jaw it was dead out there, did not see much going on with other boaters either, but we where told by a several that Saturday was great fishing limits for all, just my luck  :smt009. But still a nice quite day of fishing  :smt004.

No its low and has been for the last couple of years, I read a while back that there is a problem with the Dam so they are keeping it low on purpose.

That is the deal......and there is no shore shade or any structure along it either,it is bad compared to the GOOD OL' DAYS of HIGH WATER. I mark tons of fish but no biters. :smt010

Hey Pat -

How was the water clarity? I switched a couple of my rapalas to size #6 wide gap gamakatsu to see if it would improve hook up ratios. Will let you know if it makes a difference.
