Any Santa Cruz Kayak dealers around?

I’m looking to demo the G1 and the G2. I can’t find any shops that stock them. As soon as I mention fishing all the salesman point at a hobie.

The guy who makes it is a NCKA guy Jim (baitman on the forum) based in Watsonville at my last check. I'd PM him and I'm sure he'll hook you up with something.

Jim got out of the kayak business and sold the molds last year.

Man I thought they r still in Santa Cruz . I was thinking to go with a used g2 with mirage drive.

Pretty ironic that you can’t buy a Santa Cruz kayak in Santa Cruz...

I had a G2 but had to sell it since I ran out of space to store kayaks. It’s a nice kayak. You might post a “wanted to buy” here on NCKA as there a quite a few people who have them and maybe somebody would be looking to sell.

I have a G2 I’m willing to sell. I also have one that I’m not willing to sell. I don’t have an extra insert or mirage drive and there isn’t a rudder on it so you’d want to source those elsewher.

It’s been 12 days since I contacted SC Kayaks, the emailed me the next saying we will be contacting you shortly. I haven’t heard anything since then.

I know Hojo had one he wanted to sell, as well as Sonny,
but that was a while ago and I don't know if they are still available. 
Neither of these boats have seen much more than a demo

Yea the Raptor is a bad ass yak! I bought mine a while back.  BAITMAN sold his business and moved to Oregon I believe! I hope he’s  living the good life!!!! Genius he is. I have not tried the G2 but I love my SOT Raptor.

Richard Moiola out of the SLO area is the new rep/distributor for the west. I can PM you his number if you’re interested. Maybe he’ll respond here as well.
