I thought it would be fun and educational to see other people's trolling setups on their kayaks. I'll start.
For the front seat of the TI, I have mounted on the aka bar a RailBlaza mount for my rod holder and a Scotty mount (using a PatR aka mount) for the Lake Troller downrigger. Same configuration on both sides, although we mostly fish with just the right ama these days.

The rear seat has been trickier to configure but it's finally done. My PVC mount allows trolling on both sides either close to the boat or sweeping out if the ama is installed, as well as vertical rod and wheel storage. A Scotty mount in the side mesh pocket allows for use of the Lake Troller downrigger.

FF is mounted on the left side of the front crossbar using a PatR Ram mount. The cables run through the front hatch to the battery and transducer.
Would be great to see how others fish!

It seems like your downrigger is between your ama and your kayak while your fishing line/pole, is on the outside the ama. How do you deploy your trolled lure/bait so your line ends up on the outside of the ama?
I have not trolled much, but when i did, i used to hold my pole between my legs, pole to one side; lately been using a scotty mount up front behind the front hatch, pole reaching accros the kayak.
Cheers!

I clip the line to the downrigger while it's right next to me. Then I crank it down to my desired depth, lock the downrigger and swing my rod tip out and around the ama. A 7' Ugly Stik clears the ama easily.

I troll for halibut using the bounce-ball approach. Not quite the same as salmon trolling with DR...

For a description of how I set up my Hobie Revolution for downrigger trolling with a Cannon Lake-Troll downrigger, see http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=12575.msg138905#msg138905.

For a minute I thought that you had figured out how to mount a bilge pump on a through-the-hull fitting, so you could pump water out of your TI without opening a hatch.  Which would be an excellent idea.  But then I realized that the bilge pump is sitting in the base for the TI's mast.

Hey Eddie, I almost always go with 10oz. The amount of weight needed to keep in contact with the bottom depends on speed (of course), and also on the size and weight of the dodger that you use. Speaking of dodgers, I really like the "Gibbs Herring Dodger #3", as it's heavy enough to stay down, and big enough to make a wide sweeping motion:
