Title: WTB Vehicle for kayak fishing
Post by: Archie Marx on January 13, 2018, 04:40:21 PM
I need a new (to me) bait tank! I’m looking for a mid/high mileage Outback, Tacoma, or any 4 door AWD/4wd vehicle that will haul me and my gear. I don’t mind scratches, dents, rotten fish smells.

I don’t mind ... rotten fish smells.

I wish that my wife thought that way. She refuses to ride in my 2004 CRV (which, btw, has nearly 1/4 million miles on it).

Sounds like the starting point for an epic yakwagon!

Linda reluctantly rides in my Subaru (also with 1/4 mil miles). :smt044

So there use to be a guy on here by the handle ATD who had the inside scoop on a focus wagon that was for sale. It came with a pre seasoned squid smell and it was definitely a yak hauler you may want to check with him.  :smt002  :smt044

What do you consider high mileage? I have an 06 Tacoma with ~169K miles that I’ve been on the fence on selling for some time now.
