Another hatchery steelhead from the Trinity River, near Salyer, October 2009.  This fish nailed a piece of ghost shrimp boondogged through a deep run.  Nearly ripped the rod out of my hands!  My buddy Brian is the guy floating in the pontoon boat in the background.

More Russian River Steelhead
2/20/18 spent hatchery fish.
Went 1 for 3 and lost a PB I estimate in the high teens.
Never had a second of control. What a rush. Lol
