Decided to make a homemade dredge from crap sitting around...didn't want to fork out the $$ to buy one.

Going to test this out on halibut and maybe salmon. I'm thinking about swapping out the hoochies with some B2 squid.

Any tips on making this design better or how to work it properly for those who've used a dredge?

Looks good! What did you use for the arms?

Its galvanized steel but i'm going to switch it out with some thin nylon rods i ripped out from an old baby carseat cover. It's more flexible and lighter.

The top part is just 3/8" aluminum tubing bent down with some holes drilled into it w/ epoxy filled in to secure the arms.
