I took another look at my Wheeleez, and noticed that they are actually the older Roleez. When you took apart your Roleez, did you find the same parts as in my picture? Did it come with 20 mm (3/4") bearings?

There are 2 ways I can think of to salvage those wheels.
1) Buy the $25 bearing kit and try it. If they fit your hubs, then you are good to go. If not then spend an additional $10 on a new hub. ($20 if you melted the bearings on both wheels)
2) Find someone who will let you take apart their newer Wheeleez, and do a bearing swap to see if it fits. If they fit, then you can just buy the bearing kit.

Here are the service instructions for wheeleez:
http://www.beachcartsusa.com/ServicingOrUpgradingWheeleez&RoleezWheels.pdf

And if you insist on towing your Roleez behind your truck, you can try one of these high speed bearings.

Apparently, Wheeleez are used on ultralights.

Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.

I looked at Krusty's pic of his bearings and noted it said Roleze on the plate.  They look exactly like my late model Wheeleez bearing and plate.

They would probably work.  Of course that's my opinion, which is easy to give from where I sit. :smt002

Good Luck Eric,

I do free Lost Coast trips anyway.  It was a Jedi mind trick...  :smt003

Salmon season starts in April, pending the final word from groups that are meeting now and later this month into April.  Locals are guessing anywhere from first weekend in April to mid April for Shelter Cove and early May for Eureka/Trinidad.  I'll be going early and often, so watch for the reports to see how the bite will be early in the season.

No sorries for allowing me to provide an LOL.   :smt003  I was going about 20 as Domenic sat on the tailgate for about 4 miles.  Funny thing is I didn't even notice they were messed up for several trips afterward.

Both wheels suffered the same fate.

I am headed down Mike's direction on the fifteenth and would be happy to fascilitate the exchange. Depending on how fast mike can turn it around I can bring it back too. I need to spend a few hours in twain Harte, probably on the seventeenth.

Doug - that would be awesome!  I've sent Mike a proposal, so I'll get back to you, and thanks!   :smt001

I'm too rough on gear to buy those high speed bearings!  They'd die a slow speed death along dozens of miles of Lost Coast sand.   :smt003  Besides, they don't come in my axel diameter!   :smt005
