Golf and Good times for a Great Cause!

I belong to a small non-profit called Mandilon Inc. that raises $$ for scholarships for local Watsonville and Pajaro valley High student graduates.

We are having our Annual Fundraising Golf Tourney this Saturday at Spring Hills Gold Course here in Watsonville.

Rey LapuLapu and I are playing (he is good, I am not  ) and are looking for two more to make a foursome!!

$100 gets you green fees, golf cart, food and entertainment. 

All proceeds go to scholarships for the students. Scholarship recipients are picked with input from WHS and PVHS counselors and teachers.

Anybody interested please just post here!!

Registration starts at noon, so will prolly have Rey LapuLapu just pick me up at my house here in Watsonville and then drive over together.

AWESOME!!! Cuz I suck!! 

But I had a blast playing last year and the foursome I was on actually got 2nd place and a nice plaque cuz most everyone else thought they didn't have a chance of winning and didn't bother turning in their score cards and just went and drank beer and ate food and listened to the band after!

 

It's a good group of guys, and you have met some of them before.

Date on the trophy says July 12.   I would of done this too if I would of saw the post!!!!!  I fished for a skunk last sat would of rather of hacked it up!

Already happened!!

Rey is a rockstar! I suck ass! 

We had a ton of fun though, raised some $$ for scholarships for local kids, drank a few beers, had a cool live band, a taquero for yummy food, and Rey won two cool raffle prizes!!

This was our 6th annual golf fundraiser for this scholarship program. I will post details earlier next year for anyone who is interested in playing!

To bad Jedmo.  It was last Saturday.  We probably could have won it with your great swing bro.  Got lucky and won a round for 4 worth $200.  Also a certificate for $25 in merchandise.  Thanks to Jim for inviting me.  It was a lot of fun.  Have to limit them tequila shots though.  Next year bro.  The band was great.  I could hear them almost on every hole.  Made me feel like dancing the salsa.  Jim was a natural.

Yeah, I know better than to drink tequila...ever! 

My buddy Freddy was driving around in his gold cart delivering beer, water and tequila shots to folks playing. 

The band was great, and yes I am a natural...naturally sucky. 

Glad you had fun Rey, and thanks again for coming out! Freddy has your cooler and I will hold onto it until I see you next...hopefully soon!
