CA Regulations / Re: Kangaroo Leather Motorcycle Gloves
« on: April 10, 2017, 05:46:23 PM »
It seems pretty far-fetched that anybody could tell that a dead horse was "free roaming" or not. And why are kangaroos on this list? They are not endangered and the meat is exported from Australia (but, apparently, not to California).

Vicuna aren't endangered anymore.  Kangaroos are basically pests.  Whales, dolphins, porpoises, and sea otters are listed but seals, sea lions, and river otters are omitted.  There isn't much rhyme or reason to a lot of this list.

I think its just a trap for the unwary.
Wait.......... are you saying that a fish and wildlife department somewhere in America doesn't have rhyme  or reason......... ok rhyme I can agree with but there reasoning is simple "profitably" , I'd like to see some of the upper management pay figures... at risk of pudding off an educator "kinda like teachers saying there underpaid but won't show ya there check stubs"

I refuse to answer the question on the grounds that your post is tracking everyone!  :smt044
My oldest is an Abu Garcia spinning reel (trout) maybe late 80's early 90's was granddads but he never used it.

Must just be the new stuff my two older units have been completely under in the spin cycle and both work fine.... now I do fresh rinse and hang dry inside.

NOT sure if it's worth mentioning way down there, but we are having a benefit (full salmon gear on board)  kayak race in the Nehalem River June 24th followed by salmon fishing the inbound tide and a (included in entry fee) banquet. Still trying to figure out a catchy name? Likely % for first 3 places in peddle and paddle categories.

I hear reverse is awesome, I did see one of the pull tabs break at Shasta.
We had engine357 accidentally pull his cable out as well up here, his other comment was with cold fingers it actually hurts to pull if .... not that California and cold go hand in hand.

Get a Native Slayer Propel and "back that thing up" without trying to stick your finger in a little plastic loop between your toes that CAN AND WILL pull out and break.....I witnessed it with my own one eye (the other one don't work).  :smt044

I only need one and myyak8me, fish-n-brew, or Jim from Santa Cruz Kayaks if they have room and can get it picked up, so far that's my Cali "rollinnorthcall"

Actually you don't need to turn it in edit if you can simply trim a hair off but either way it's annoying on the iPhone.

If someone coming to the Tillamook Bay Kayak Day in June has room I'd take one to use for our Heroes On the Water Chapter would work great for paperwork bolted inside a trailer.

Surgical  forceps/scissors combo... cost can be expensive..... 6 stitches in the finger $150 co pay...... and I yelled "hey if your throwing that shit away with the cost of health care I want them" most hospitals nowadays don't autoclave and reuse so ask if there tossing them and politely say it's on my bill put it in a biohazard bag and fork it over. They work great for building models and sniffing glue " did I type that out load?   :smt044
