Needing some on the water therapy this weekend.  Not sure where yet so I thought I would ask here if anyone has any suggestions.  Tired of getting skunked on the North Fork of Folsom, plus the boat traffic can get insane even in the 5 mile zones.

Have you heard any reports on fish in the upper American yet? Seems like they should be up to Sunrise by now. I was thinking of hitting the red bridge this weekend and see what happens.

I haven't heard about the upper American.  I heard most of the fish coming up are staging up at the mouth before going to the feather river... I was out last weekend and saw some goods ones landed, but none for me yet....

Keep us posted on where the salmon is... I am unlikely to get out on water next 2 weekends, but really want to land one this year.  Is it correct that this years limit is one salmon /day?

Mmmh.  These regulations talk about 2 fish and barbless hooks above Ancil Hoffman park only? Where do I find the 1oz weight restriction? I think many bank anglers still do the flossing with long leaders upriver? Still newbie to fishing hence these questions. Want to do it the right way. Thanks.

As far as a single hook on anything one oz and  above is concerned, I have been having a hard time finding that info too. Everybody I have talked to at the tackle shop and on the water have been saying that, so I've been playing it safe and going with that until I can find out for certain.
